Jonathan Otero

Executive Director

Jonathan, based in Inverness, FL, is a distinguished figure in the music industry. As an Educational Artist for Vic Firth and Zildjian and the CEO of Jotero Music, he brings expertise and innovation to his role as a marching arts educator and designer across multiple states.

His musical journey began with the drum set and saxophone, evolving into a deep passion for marching band and drumline during high school. Jonathan’s professional accomplishments include performing at Walt Disney World and serving as a percussion instructor and arranger for numerous high schools, such as Haines City High, Poinciana High, and Citrus High. His extensive career also spans roles with RPT Percussion, Star City Bulldog Regiment, South Sumter High, and Heat Wave Drum & Bugle Corps.

Currently, Jonathan is the Percussion Director and Battery Arranger for Mount Dora High School in Florida, as well as the Percussion Designer and Program Consultant at Star City High School in Arkansas. His work reflects a commitment to excellence and a dedication to nurturing the next generation of musicians.

Jordon Pinchback

Assistant Director

Born in  North Carolina and Tampa, Florida raised, Jordon received his bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies from St. Petersburg College. Since 2017 Jordon has been at various central Florida schools as a visual and music technician, choreographer, director, and designer. Jordon concurrently serves as the board secretary of Siege Performing Arts, Inc., and is also the Corps Director at River City Rhythm Drum and Bugle Corps (Anoka, MN).

Jordon returns to co-lead the administrative team at Siege Percussion with 7+ years of progressive management and leadership skills, including transformational management.

Outside of the pageantry arts, Jordon works as an adult education teacher  for Hillsborough County Public Schools. In his free time, Jordon can be found supporting local multicultural eateries, coffee shops, and breweries in and around the Tampa bay area. Bowling, tubing, and spontaneous road trips are other hobbies that Jordon enjoys while living in the Sunshine State.

Allyson Vega

Office Manager

Allyson is an Administrative Secretary for Pasco County. She graduated with an Associate in Science Degree from St. Petersburg College in 2018. She joined band in middle school and later found her passion in color guard. In 2023, she joined the world of indoor percussion alongside her husband, AJ Vega.

With extensive experience in administration, Allyson is committed to optimizing office operations and ensuring seamless, high-quality support for every team member.

Gennivieve Archambeault

Member Leadership Coordinator

Gennivieve Archambeault is a resident of Sumter County Florida. She started her performing arts career as a dancer in early elementary. That later turned into playing a musical instrument. Gennivieve has played the clarinet for fifteen years and was in a leadership role for two in the South Sumter High School Raider Band. Past high school, Gennivieve attended the University of Central Florida to play with the Knights Concert Band. She graduated in 2019 with her Bachelor of Elementary Education and in the spring of 2024 with her Master of Educational Leadership (M.Ed Leadership) at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Tyler Marais

Logistics Coordinator

Tyler Marais is the Director of Bands at Safety Harbor Middle School in Safety Harbor, Florida. The program consists of Concert, Jazz, Drumline, and Color Guard. Their program has grown and earned straight superior ratings at annual assessments since taking over the program in 2020. Mr. Marais is the recipient of the Emerging Teacher of the Year for SHMS in 2022.

Mr. Marais graduated with a Bachelors in Music Education from Florida Southern College studying Saxophone under Valerie Gillespie. Mr. Marais has been a staff member of their FSC Band Camp staff since 2018 and coordinator since 2022 as well as Visual Technician for the Countryside HS and East Lake HS marching programs. Mr. Marais is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, National Association for Music Education, and the Florida Bandmasters Association.

Thompson "TJ" Joseph

Brand & Merchandise Manager

TJ is a Haitian American graphic designer and photographer passionate about creativity and visual arts. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design and has an extensive background in the marching arts. Early in his career, he made his mark as a costume and uniform designer. He has been a member of the Teal Sound Drum and Bugle Corps and served as the Visual caption head for the Heat Wave Drum and Bugle Corps. Additionally, Thompson has contributed as a drill designer for multiple programs in the central Florida area.

Currently, TJ is the owner of Motus Design Company and Tommy Jo Photography, where he brings his artistic vision to life. His diverse background and innovative approach bring a unique perspective to every project he undertakes.

Harold Silva

Administrative Assistant

Harold Silva is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.S in Health Sciences and holds a Certification degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University. In 2017 Harold was the Assistant Drum Major for Heat Wave Drum and Bugle Corps, since then he’s had administrative and field tech experience with the Fort Myers High School Green Wave Marching Band.

 

Amanda Mederos

Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Tampa Florida, Amanda is currently a student at the University of South Florida majoring in Music Education, with clarinet as her primary. In the past, Amanda marched in the 2020 and 2021 seasons of the Herd of Thunder Marching Band She is currently the Woodwind Instructor at Countryside High School and worked at Sumner High School in 2021 as their Visual and Woodwind Instructor. Amanda Has a 2-year-old Husky German Shepherd mix that she likes to play with outside during her free time. She is working on a series of books that she reads when she is at home. Her current read is Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros.

Alyssa Gale

Administrative Intern

Alyssa is a Percussion educator currently residing in Orange Park, FL. She began playing percussion instruments as early as 9 years old and continued growing a strong passion for musicianship all throughout elementary, middle, and high school, and is currently continuing her music education journey at Florida State College in Jacksonville, FL.

Alyssa was introduced to the marching arts in 2012, later performing in ensembles such as Heat Wave of Florida dbc 2015-2017, Ancient City Ensemble 2017-2018, Guardians dbc 2019, Civitas independent 2020, and most recently Stryke Percussion for the 2022 season. She has taught at various high and middle schools in Pinellas County including Largo, Countryside, East Lake, and Seminole High School, and is currently teaching in Clay County Florida.

“My goal is always to mentor and build young adults with life skills that will benefit them in their future far more than just the marching arts.” Alyssa is very excited to join the team at Siege!

Hikari Nitta

Media Manager

Hikari is an educator/performer based in Orlando where she currently drums with Matsuriza at Epcot. With an extensive background in dance and colorguard, she has performed with Freedom HS (Orlando), USF Winterguard, the Bluecoats and Swotu Waya Drum Circle at Animal Kingdom. Still very active in the marching arts, she currently teaches Freedom HS and The Bluecoats as well as works as a social media coordinator and Contest Director for FFCC.

Ben Tomlin

Content Creator/Graphic Designer

Ben Tomlin is a graphic designer from Tampa. A graduate of The University of Alabama, he now works for the Straz Center for Performing Arts as a designer and designs for various clients all around the world.

With many years working within the musical arts, he also continues to develop Countryside high school’s percussion and hopes to expand on his love of teaching working with Siege.

Tomlin’s creative approach—no matter the medium—is to find what you enjoy creating and create more of it.

Coral Batten

Photographer

Coral’s professional photography experience ranges from product photography, weddings, sporting events, portraits and more over the last 10 years. In 2018, she established Kalani Photo, LLC., specializing in real estate photography and drone media for both residential and commercial clientele throughout Florida. 
Coral is an experienced snare drum performer who began participating in the marching arts in 2011. Since then, she has competed with various outdoor and indoor groups with a focus on WGI. She recently worked on the FFCC media team, then taught at Springstead High School as Percussion Director for their marching program, kickstarting her interest in rejoining the industry in both media and as an educator.

Larkin Sharpe

Photographer

Larkin Sharpe is the Associate Director of Bands at Mount Dora High School, a position he has held since 2023. Previously, he was Director of Bands at Hialeah Senior High School for six years, where the Marching Band & Color Guard earned six consecutive FMBC State Championship Finalist placements in Classes 1A and 2A. His Wind Orchestra and Concert Jazz Band consistently received Superior ratings.
 
A Broward County native, Mr. Sharpe attended Walter C. Young Middle School and Charles W. Flanagan High School before earning a Bachelor’s in Music Education from Stetson University. At Stetson, he participated in the University Symphonic Band, Saxophone Quartet, and Pep Band, and was a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
 
Mr. Sharpe’s performance credits include the JINSHA Summer Music Festival in Chengdu, China, membership with the Miami Wind Symphony, and two years as Drum Major with the Carolina Crown Drum & Bugle Corps, earning silver and gold medals at the DCI World Championships.
 
In his spare time, he works as a freelance photographer, videographer, and graphic designer, covering events such as weddings, engagements, and national sports.
