AJ Vega

Educational Coordinator

AJ Vega is an Orlando-born percussionist who grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He joined the US Marines as a Marine Musician and served from 2016 to 2020. After the service, AJ returned to the Tampa Bay area where he began teaching and arranging for multiple local programs, most recently Tarpon Springs HS. AJ is also an active performer, having performed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers “Buc-Beat” Line, and the Tampa Bay Lightning Drumline.

This is AJ’s third year with Siege Percussion. He’s thrilled to bring his passion into the roles of Battery Arranger and Designer, as well as Educational Team Coordinator.

Dante Alvarado

Dante Alvarado

Co-Battery Coordinator & Tenor Instructor

Dante is a world-class tenor drummer with over a decade of experience and an unwavering passion for the marching arts. As a performer, he has competed with Marcato Independent (2014–2015), Infinity Percussion (2016–2021), and the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (2019). Off the floor, Dante has served as an educator with Riptide Percussion Theater (2023–2024) and Infinity 3 (2025), sharing his knowledge and dedication with the next generation of performers. He is also a member of the Orlando Magic Beatz Drumline. Dante is incredibly excited to join the Siege Percussion family and looks forward to contributing to its tradition of excellence!

Alex Schultheis

Co-Battery Coordinator & Bass Instructor

Alex is a passionate musician, educator, and experienced bass drummer with a deep-rooted background in the marching arts. He marched four seasons of bass drum in WGI, performing with Connexus from 2017 to 2018 and Infinity from 2019 to 2020. In addition, Alex marched two seasons of DCI with Crossmen in 2017 and 2018. 

Alex returns to Siege Percussion for his second year as Co-Battery Coordinator.

Chris Vosburgh

Front Ensemble Coordinator

Chris has his Music Education degree from UCF and is currently working at East River High School as their Associate Band Director. Chris is originally from Coral Springs, Florida, and has been a part of the local marching band and indoor percussion circuit for many years. In addition to the school he is currently teaching with, he has previously worked with percussion students at Stoneman Douglas HS, Jupiter HS, Flanagan HS and many others in the South Florida Tri-County area. Before moving into a teaching role, he was a front ensemble member with STRYKE PIW from 2013 – 2017 as well as the Madison Scouts in 2015. He was brought back on staff at STRYKE from 2018-2022 where he became the director of STRYKE 2 in 2020 until 2023.

Isabelle Rodriguez

Visual Coordinator

Isabelle Rodriguez was born and raised in Miami,  Florida. She graduated from Florida International University with her degree in Communications and a minor in music. During this time, she performed with and instructed FIU indoor Percussion. She is currently the assistant band director at Pembroke Pines Charter High School in Broward County. She has spent her marching and teaching career in South Florida and is excited to expand her community with the Siege Percussion team. 

Brad G

Brad Gorske

Snare Instructor

Brad Gorske is a performer and educator who is originally from the Gainesville area. Brad has had a passion for drumming and music as a whole since a young age, playing both the drum set and saxophone in the past. He has six seasons of WGI experience, first performing with Unity Percussion, then later moving on to march with both Infinity 2 and Infinity Percussion. Since moving to Orlando, he has taught at Lake Howell High School, East River High School, and Fusion Core. This will be his second year at Siege. He is currently studying Sports Media Production at the University of Central Florida.

Jake Taylor

Snare Instructor

Jake Taylor, originally from Olathe KS, Now based out Tampa FL, started his independent marching career with Gateway Indoor in 2016 and went on to march with groups such as Crossmen (2019) and Cap City (2019-2022). As an Instructor, Jake has worked with various groups in the Kansas City area, as well as the Tampa area, including Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory For The Arts. Currently, Jake is part of the Educational Team at The Academy Drum & Bugle Corps

Cam Anderson

Tenor Instructor

Cameron is a performer and educator from Tampa, Florida with lots of experience within the marching community. He started out his career marching tenor drums in notable WGI ensembles like Ancient City Ensemble (PIO) then transitioned to Atlanta Quest (PIW). He also marched DCI at Crossmen and Boston Crusaders. He studied business at the University of South Florida where he also was a member of the Herd of Thunder Marching Band and became Drum Captain during his tenure.

Currently, he is teaching at various high schools across Tampa and is excited to share his knowledge with Siege Percussion! 

Brian Bissonnette

Bass Instructor

Brian has been a percussionist for as long as he can remember and started learning all about it in 2002 after joining middle school band. From then on, he enjoyed every bit of it as a member of various concert, marching, and indoor ensembles. Brian has nearly fifteen years experience teaching for multiple outdoor and indoor groups across different cities and states as a Snare, Front Ensemble, Bass Line, or Visual Tech. 

He was also one of the founding staff members of Heat Wave Drum & Bugle Corps and worked with them for three seasons as a Bass Tech. Brian was part of Siege Percussion’s inaugural year as a Bass Tech and is looking forward to returning and continuing to grow the legacy that has been started.

Ashley Schmaus

Cymbal Instructor 

Ashley is a multi-instrumentalist with a primary focus on percussion. Her journey in the world of percussion led her to two incredible seasons on Cymbals with Infinity Percussion (PIO, PIW). Currently, Ashley is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Music Education at the University of Central Florida. In addition to her studies, she is proud to be a percussion instructor at Lake Mary High School.

Ryan Greenburg

Mallet Instructor 

Ryan Gabriel Greenberg is a resident of Central Florida and currently works as a technical delivery associate for an IT company based in Tampa, FL. 

With years of experience as both an educator and audio engineer in the marching arts, Ryan has contributed to various programs, including Aledo HS, North Fort Myers HS, and Lake Buena Vista HS, to name a few. In addition to independent ensembles such as the Academy Drum and Bugle Corps and Siege Percussion. He has also been a performer with several marching ensembles, including Stryke Percussion, Infinity Percussion, Pacific Crest, Legends, and the Troopers.

Jacob Barber

Visual Instructor
As a third-year Spartan, Jacob is a Tampa-based percussion educator and performer, who accredits his success with a love for giving back to the youth, and for creating art for art’s sake. Jacob has been involved in organizations such as the University of South Florida, various WGI ensembles as a performer and staff member, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Buc-Beat Line. Jacob is also a self-described nerd and loves to play video games, board games, and even Dungeons and Dragons. “I am so ready to Sweat Hard and Bleed Less with Siege Percussion this season!”
 
Alex Simon

Alex Simon

Visual Instructor 

Originally from Boynton Beach, FL, Alex is entering his 2nd season with Siege. He’s been involved in the marching arts for almost a decade, with experience at Atlantic HS, STRYKE 2, Raiders DBC, Infinity 3, and Florida State University’s Big 8 Drumline. Outside of percussion, Alex is earning his Registered Behavioral Technician Certification and learning to provide Applied Behavior Analysis to children with autism. He’s super excited for what year 2 will bring! SHBL!

Visual Instructor 

Recent Florida A&M University graduate and Tallahassee native, Raymond Dickens, is returning as a Visual Technician. His performance career includes multiple contracts throughout the Six Flags Coorperation, THE Buc Beat Line of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and STRYKE Percussion in Palm Beach, FL. Raymond strives to uphold the standard, continue achieving goals, and strengthen the culture of Siege Percussion. #SHBL
